We're going to Puerto Rico!

Last September, Hurricane Maria wreaked havoc on the island of Puerto Rico. And while relief has quickly come in response, there is still more that needs to be done, from the urban cities to the scattered villages.

Though Puerto Rico no longer receives so much attention from the news, we cannot look away while so many people are still in need of help. We are compelled to respond.

YWAM Sarasota is sending a team of 7 people to Puerto Rico for two weeks on February 25, 2018. Our heart as a team is to reach those still in desperate need. Many smaller towns and villages are still in need of basic clean up and simple construction to make them livable again, and we plan to do as much as we can to help. Our team will join forces with YWAM Puerto Rico (known as JUCUM Urbano Puerto Rico) to be the hands and feet of Jesus, addressing both practical and spiritual needs.

Currently, our biggest need is for construction tools and supplies. We know that not everyone can go but we can all give. Would you consider partnering with us?

Each member of our team needs to raise the money to cover the costs of the flight, accommodation, food, and ground transportation. If you'd like to help our team cover the costs of our trip, please click the link below.
