From where I stand

Song by Viktoria Elke & Malcolm Augustinus

Just one look at your creation
And the beauty it holds within
Leaves me in pure fascination
Of who you are

From where I stand
I feel your presence rule the wind
I see your glory taking over
I feel your love pouring in

You paint the skies with words of life
And without you nothing was that now is
For you spoke and it came to be
You commanded, it stood firm
As your steadfast love fills all the earth

From where I stand
I feel your presence rule the wind
I see your glory taking over
I feel your love pouring in

Over and over again
you show me your glory
Overwhelmed in your presence I stand
You are holy, you are holy

Incineration (or the bulimia of pride)

Poem by Linnea Stromberg

Pride is a river
Eat it for breakfast
of ice cold water
Wake up
to see clearly
Until
your bones are shaking
freezing
(I throw it right back up again)

Swallow your pride
have it for lunch
Only
one
glass
WILL QUENCH THE FIRE!
(welcome to your body)
The bulimia of pride
I throw it right back up again

Pride is a river
(but) In the evening
I have remembered the alcohol in my veins and I   set a match to it.
Eat The last supper
Swallow your wine

I’m warm
if you lean your back against me.

Veronica

by Chris Balbi

I created you with endurance in your heart,
To stay hungry, dissatisfied, and
Restless.
You many think these gifts as a curse, my child,
But when the dust storm rises over the hillside,
Your hunger will provoke your soul for answers,
Your dissatisfaction will discipline you to reach for
Beyond the voice of others,
And your restlessness will turn to
Immediate comfort as you finally
Settle into my arms to sleep.

A Little Kindness

Song by Clara Christofferson

Numbers and colors
Shape and lines
Where is the pattern?
Where is the design?

Sometimes this tapestry called life
Doesn't make sense
Doesn't make much sense

And all that you can see
Is this mess
A great big mess
And it doesn't make much sense

You
Somewhere in the blue
Wondering do I matter?
Does it even matter?

But somewhere along the way
You found a little kindness
A little kindness

Somewhere along the way
A little kindness found you
Somewhere along the way
You found a little kindness
A little kindness

But wait
There's more
Than just a little kindness
There's a lot of kindness x2

There's a place for you
There's a song for you
There's a song for you
If you listen
If you look around you
If you look around you

You'll see
The pattern after all
And a lot of kindness
After all
